Our Sacramento, California location is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, playing a crucial part in our logistics network. Your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure that our customers receive exactly what they ordered, in perfect condition. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. We provide all necessary Safety training and mandate the use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order fulfillment lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, following company guidelines for different item types.
- Prepare orders for shipment by applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping targets within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance standards.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
