We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This position is fundamental to our daily warehouse operations, encompassing a wide range of tasks to ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining stock accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, free from obstructions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for the duration of the shift.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is an advantage.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
