We are actively recruiting for Picker/Packer positions at our large distribution center in Dallas, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting products and preparing them for shipment. This is a dynamic role requiring speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality within our extensive logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse locations based on order fulfillment sheets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Package goods appropriately, ensuring protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to outgoing orders.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
- Utilize handheld scanners and assist with inventory tracking tasks.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Support the efficient operation of our supply chain and logistics.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout your shift.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education. Previous experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous. Ability to accurately read and interpret order instructions. Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Capacity to work at a brisk pace while maintaining accuracy. Physical stamina to perform tasks involving frequent lifting. Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices. Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively. Adherence to safety regulations and proper wearing of PPE is essential.
