Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our operations in San Jose, California. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. You will be responsible for conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of our inventory data within our systems. Your contributions will be vital to optimizing our logistics flow, reducing losses, and enhancing overall operational performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and committed to upholding high standards of Safety and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and refine inventory control procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and product placement.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations and logistics teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure the proper labeling and organization of all stored items.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with occasional Lifting of inventory items as part of audit processes, up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory tracking software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of general logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
