We have an immediate opening for a diligent Shipping Clerk in our Denver, Colorado location. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment, accurately documenting outgoing goods, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery. This role is integral to our logistics department, ensuring products reach our customers efficiently and without error.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing orders according to shipping manifests.
- Verify order contents against packing slips and customer orders.
- Prepare shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as scales and label printers.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and logistics requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with shipping software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks as required, up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
