We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our busy logistics hub in Atlanta, Georgia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, ensuring timely and precise fulfillment. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using order lists or RF scanners to locate products, carefully picking them, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. A strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency is essential to meet our service standards. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to walk extensively, stand for long periods, and perform frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs. Maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority, and all Order Pickers must adhere to strict safety regulations and consistently wear the necessary PPE. Experience with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems is a plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse roles.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and use of PPE.
