Job Summary:
Our growing facility in Provo, Utah, is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and optimize our warehouse equipment and systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our entire logistics network. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and other automated equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with a proactive approach to preventative maintenance. Your expertise will directly impact our operational efficiency and Safety. This is a key role in our advanced logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on machinery.
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to equipment and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with automated systems, robotics, or conveyor maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and other Safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Must be able to handle moderate Lifting and operate in various warehouse conditions.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Always wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves.
