Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from trucks and into storage areas.
- Verify counts and inspect materials for damage during loading and unloading.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and other designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is mandatory.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to safety and diligent use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
