Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision are key to our logistics success. You will work with a variety of items, using equipment like order pickers and pallet jacks. Safety is paramount in our operations, and we provide all necessary PPE to ensure your well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Read pick lists or scan order information to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and product codes to ensure order accuracy.
  • Use powered and manual equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to access and transport items.
  • Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in assigned picking zones.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
  • Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
  • Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Understanding of basic inventory control and logistics principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
