We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This crucial role ensures the efficient flow of goods, manages inventory, supervises warehouse staff, and maintains a safe and productive working environment. You will be instrumental in optimizing our logistics and supply chain functions, driving efficiency, and upholding high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Implement and enforce established safety procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant bodies.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations and reduce costs.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational expenses.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and that safety checks are performed regularly.
- Manage the use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all staff.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulations related to safe Lifting and material handling.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, and safety.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management or coordination. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be proficient in safety regulations and the importance of PPE. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience with implementing process improvements is highly valued.
