We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker at our facility in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products for customer orders, playing a key part in our daily logistics operations. You will work with a team to ensure orders are picked correctly and efficiently, contributing to customer satisfaction. This physically demanding position is perfect for energetic individuals who enjoy being active.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice-directed systems.
- Retrieve products from designated warehouse locations, ensuring correct item and quantity.
- Inspect picked items for damage before staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained/certified) safely.
- Stage picked orders in the correct areas for consolidation and shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards and accuracy goals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by removing clutter and potential hazards.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to proper Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Support overall warehouse logistics by assisting with other tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Understand and follow all warehouse policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Familiarity with warehouse technology (scanners, WMS) is a plus. Must be safety-conscious and willing to wear required PPE. Good communication skills are necessary. Understanding of basic logistics workflows is helpful.
