Become a vital Warehouse Worker at our Portland, Oregon location. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a range of essential warehouse tasks. You will be responsible for receiving goods, stocking shelves, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. The ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members is crucial. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to all company policies, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are paramount. Your role ensures the smooth and efficient movement of products through our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specified requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management processes, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for prolonged periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse safety procedures.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
