We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our bustling facility in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Your duties will encompass a broad range of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and accuracy, meeting productivity targets.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse premises.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker is beneficial.
- Capability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long durations and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Must possess a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices is required.
