Join our expanding **logistics** team in Austin, Texas as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently gather products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will utilize advanced scanning technology to locate and retrieve items, contributing to the seamless processing of orders. Your precision and speed will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using an RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Participate in inventory management activities as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Meet established picking performance metrics.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work at a steady pace. Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not required. Must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, and **Lifting** (up to 40 lbs). A strong commitment to **safety** and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. This is a physically demanding position that requires stamina and focus.
