We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our expanding team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in our e-commerce fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped. Your efforts directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires accuracy, speed, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure products meet quality standards before packing.
- Process shipments and prepare them for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Replenish inventory in picking areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and proper lifting techniques.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed.
- Wear and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and standing for prolonged periods.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety, including the correct use of PPE and lifting aids.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
This position operates within a busy warehouse setting. Employees are expected to wear required PPE, including safety vests and footwear. The role requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
