We are actively recruiting for Warehouse Associates to join our growing logistics hub in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods within our facility. Key responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders with accuracy and efficiency. You'll also contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment. This position demands physical fitness, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks. We are dedicated to workplace safety and provide all essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting, possess the ability to handle tasks involving lifting, and excel in a team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all items are accounted for and well-packaged.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment as needed.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and utilize provided PPE.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and potential issues.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role is preferred.
- Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and upholding safety standards.
