We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our expanding facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery to move, stack, and retrieve inventory. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize all required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and retrieve inventory accurately in designated racking systems.
- Perform pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting processes.
- Support overall logistics and supply chain functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift operation experience.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience with various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Strong understanding of warehouse layouts and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
