Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, automated systems).
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems impacting the logistics flow.
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to minimize downtime.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the logistics department.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of warehouse equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repair needs.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks and wear required PPE.
