We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient processing and dispatch of customer orders. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of our logistics operations, including receiving goods, stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing items, and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are committed to fostering a safe workplace and expect all associates to rigorously follow safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Assemble and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
