We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy Las Vegas, Nevada warehouse. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange materials. You will ensure that all operations are conducted with the highest regard for Safety and accuracy, contributing significantly to our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, proven experience, and a strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moderate Lifting when not operating equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking or stocking.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety shoes and reflective vests.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining all required PPE.
