Your role will be critical in ensuring that all orders are accurately documented, processed, and dispatched to their destinations on time. You will interact with various shipping carriers, prepare necessary paperwork, and maintain shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms).
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Verify shipping details against orders to prevent errors.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding shipment status.
- Operate shipping software and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assist with receiving duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle moderate lifting (up to 25 lbs) as part of job duties.
- Awareness of safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
