You will process shipping orders, prepare documentation, and coordinate with carriers to facilitate the movement of products. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Verify shipping information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Communicate with warehouse teams and customers regarding shipment status.
- Operate shipping software and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with shipping procedures, documentation, and carrier requirements.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle moderate lifting (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE.
