Seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota warehouse team! In this role, you will be crucial to our logistics success, responsible for accurately picking items to fulfill customer orders and then packing them securely for shipment. Efficiency, accuracy, and a strong focus on safety are key components of this position. You'll work with modern warehouse technology, including RF scanners, and contribute to a streamlined order fulfillment process. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Stage orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Work Environment: The role is situated within a busy warehouse environment. Employees will be required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety regulations to ensure a secure workplace. The environment may experience temperature fluctuations.
