We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse and plays a key part in our overall logistics network. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and organizing raw materials and finished products. Your work will ensure that materials are available when and where they are needed, contributing to the smooth flow of operations. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees must adhere to strict Safety protocols and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, skids, and trucks.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated storage locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Support the overall Logistics flow by ensuring materials are readily accessible.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Perform tasks including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Good organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is beneficial.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
