We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for maintaining our high standards of service within the logistics industry. You will use scanning devices and/or pick lists to locate and retrieve products, ensuring the correct quantity and item are selected for each order. We prioritize a safe working environment, so strict adherence to Safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) are mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and Lifting items up to 50 lbs. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify item quantities and ensure order accuracy.
- Pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are protected.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE consistently.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of our Logistics processes.
- Perform tasks involving frequent walking, standing, and occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet performance targets.
- Physical stamina for walking, standing, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Basic understanding of Logistics is beneficial.
