You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading materials, transporting them to designated areas, stocking inventory, and assisting with order preparation. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is required. This position demands physical capability for regular lifting and handling of goods. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from various transport vehicles.
- Move and organize materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Stock shelves and racks with incoming inventory.
- Assist in picking, packing, and staging orders.
- Ensure materials are handled in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Properly use and maintain PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or inventory discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with PPE and its importance.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
