We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our San Francisco, California facility. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations by ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available. Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overages.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Collaborating with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, to ensure a safe logistics environment.
- Generating reports on inventory accuracy and status.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
