We are hiring enthusiastic Material Handlers for our busy warehouse in Houston, Texas. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving the physical movement of materials and products throughout the facility. You will be instrumental in ensuring that inventory is managed effectively, from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Moving materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Preparing materials for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Strict adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks and projects as directed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a material handler or general warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Capability for frequent lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, involving walking, standing, and bending.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive approach to work and a commitment to safety in all logistics operations.
