Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to support our operations and ensure the optimal functioning of our warehouse equipment and facilities. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all machinery operates within safety standards. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and safety protocols is crucial. You will play a key role in preventing downtime and ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE, is non-negotiable.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, palletizers, forklifts).
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections of the warehouse facility and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Operate various warehouse machinery as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Assist in the implementation of new equipment and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including PPE requirements.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Understanding of logistics operations is beneficial.
