We are actively recruiting Order Pickers for our busy San Diego, California facility. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. This role is fundamental to our Logistics chain and requires individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to maintaining high standards of performance and Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or electronic devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items carefully and correctly for shipment, labeling as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Follow all established warehouse procedures and Safety protocols.
- Wear required PPE , including safety shoes and gloves.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or fulfillment role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick sheets and product labels accurately.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Logistics and shipping processes is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety .
