Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately retrieving items to fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right products are picked quickly and correctly, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet performance goals.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse/logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
