Join our bustling warehouse as a Picker/Packer in Salt Lake City, Utah! We're looking for energetic and reliable individuals to play a vital role in our order fulfillment process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment. This role demands attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to accuracy to ensure our customers receive exactly what they ordered. You will use handheld scanners and other technology to locate and select products, verifying quantities and item numbers. Following the picking process, you will move to the packing station, where you will carefully package items to prevent damage during transit, select appropriate shipping materials, and label packages correctly. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. We prioritize the safety of our employees and require the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and gloves. Experience with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. You'll be part of a team dedicated to excellence in warehouse management and contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain. A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and packaging.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
