Join our dedicated logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Salt Lake City, Utah! This vital role is at the forefront of our order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and speed in getting products to our customers. You'll be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, requiring precision and a keen eye for detail. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong sense of responsibility. Key duties include:
- Accurately retrieving products from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Carefully inspecting items for damage before packing.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Labeling packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Performing inventory cycle counts and assisting with stock organization.
- Operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status and any issues encountered.
- This role involves frequent manual tasks and requires the ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 35 pounds, throughout the shift.
