We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our growing logistics operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling inventory data. This position is vital to our supply chain efficiency, requiring precision and a proactive approach. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure that all inventory movements are recorded correctly and that stock levels are optimized. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves moderate physical activity, including some lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock items.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments.
- Ensure accuracy of receiving and put-away processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Assist with process improvements for inventory control.
Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in WMS software is a strong asset. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be comfortable with data entry and have strong attention to detail. Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. Willingness to perform tasks involving moderate lifting. Adherence to all safety regulations and consistent use of appropriate PPE are essential.
