We are looking for a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Using RF scanners to ensure correct item identification and quantity.
- Carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Sealing, labeling, and staging packages for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station and contributing to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhering strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with order picking and packing in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
