We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are transported correctly and safely within the facility, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics network. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance are part of the job. You will collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. This is a vital position that supports our entire supply chain. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. This role involves significant Lifting and material movement. Your commitment to Safety is critical. Experience in Logistics is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage or shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Follow all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
