You will be responsible for efficiently picking items from inventory, verifying order accuracy, and securely packing products for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials and assemble boxes or containers.
- Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Operate packing equipment and material handling tools as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
