Our Chicago, Illinois facility is looking for motivated Warehouse Associates to join our fast-paced logistics team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers).
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
- Prepare shipments for loading and transportation, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
