Join our bustling warehouse facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as an Order Picker. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, utilizing scanning equipment and following specific order instructions. This position is vital to our supply chain and requires a dedicated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . We are a leader in the logistics industry, and your contribution will be essential to our ongoing success. We provide all required PPE to ensure a secure working environment. This role involves considerable Lifting and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect products for damage before picking and packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages for shipment, ensuring all information is correct.
- Stage picked orders for outgoing shipment, ensuring proper routing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies, particularly those related to Safety and the proper use of PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and pick lists.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Capacity for consistent Lifting and moving of boxes, up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a standing and walking role for extended periods.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
