Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient management of stock levels within our warehouse. Your duties will include conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, updating inventory databases, and assisting with stock rotation and organization. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a systematic approach are essential for success in this position. You will work closely with the warehouse team to support logistics operations and ensure that stock information is up-to-date and reliable. We are looking for a candidate who understands the importance of accurate inventory in the supply chain and is committed to maintaining high standards. While previous inventory control experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE when in the warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular physical counts of inventory items.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Update and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock placement.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
  • Implement and follow stock rotation procedures (e.g., FIFO).
  • Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Support audit processes by providing accurate inventory documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and counting.
  • Proficiency with computers, including MS Office and ideally WMS software.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may involve some moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
