Join our thriving logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an Order Picker! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick products for customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating items using pick lists or scanners, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Your accuracy and speed are critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of our operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to adhering to safety guidelines. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to our supply chain efficiency. We provide all necessary training and encourage a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE and be mindful of Lifting requirements throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or other technology.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items appropriately for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
