We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating logistics, and optimizing workflow. This is an excellent leadership opportunity within a growing logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with Safety policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory control and accuracy, conducting regular audits.
- Oversee the efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products.
- Implement and enforce operational standards and best practices in logistics.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Responsible for ensuring team members utilize all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
- Experience with inventory management and control procedures.
- Proficiency in Safety regulations and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to handle physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
