Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Organize and stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding receiving activities.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE during all receiving operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a similar logistics role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30-40 pounds).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
