Protect America's borders by joining the U.S. Border Patrol as an entry-level Border Patrol Agent.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
• Interpret physical evidence such as tracks or marks indicating illegal entry of persons or contraband.

This is a career ladder position that can progress through GL-5/GL-7/GS-9/GS-11 grade levels based on experience and performance evaluations.
Training will be provided at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico;
Citizenship required; having primary residency within US for three out five last years recommended,
