MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: A four-year degree in the engineering field, preferably in the Mechanical, Aerospace or related discipline. M.S. degree in a technical field is a plus. EXPERIENCE: Five to seven (5-7) years of product development experience and at least two to three (2-3) years of Engineering management experience. Ten (10) years’ experience is preferred. Requirements: Must be able to perform the following: • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and planning skills • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills • Ability to manage and arbitrate conflicts, and promote teamwork and collaboration • Ability to motivate employees through interpersonal interactions rather than solely on incentives • Ability to understand/interpret technical related documentation • Ability to introduce and adapt to change • Ability to understand/interpret and generate technical related documentation • Government acquisition process knowledge is desired • Experience with military product development programs is desired • Strategic thinking • Adaptability • Results driven approach • Experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100D processes • Proficient in MS Office RESPONSIBILITIES Technical: Develop and execute technical, budgetary and staffing plans to support programs, projects and production activities Establish priorities, conduct critical reviews and provide technical direction as necessary Collaborate with internal and external customers to define project/program requirements, scope, schedule and objectives Enhance and refine product development processes to ensure programs are executed on time, within budget, and achieve optimal performance outcomes Support Business Group requests to address customer issues, inquiries, and efforts to pursue opportunities Support and contribute to B
