Seeking a Licensed Hygienist to join our established care oriented dental practice. We are looking to find a candidate who is friendly, caring, and is excited about oral health to be a part of our great team. Office hours are 8-5, M-Th. We are a welcoming environment that encourages patient trust and satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health including radiology, patient education .
* Perform deep scaling's and periodontal maintenance .
* Anesthesia license preferred but not required.
* Assess patient vital signs and medical history.
* Develop a nice repour with patients, new and established.
*Requirements*
* Valid Connecticut Dental Hygienist License
* Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices.
* Proficiency in infection control standards, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic technique to ensure a safe clinical environment.
* Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and foster positive patient interactions.
* Experience working with medical terminology, medical records management, and understanding of HIPAA compliance is highly desirable.
