Inpatient Phlebotomist

Position Highlights

• Department: Laboratory Support Services

• Hours: Full-Time/36 hours 

• Shift Details: 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary:

The Inpatient Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting and processing specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. 

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certificate or 1 year of phlebotomy experience

• Basic computer skills

• Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
