Location: Scotland

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you ready to become a vital part of our elite Service Technician team? As a Chiller Service Technician , you will be the true hero of our business, troubleshooting and supporting breakdowns while commissioning top-notch industrial water chillers. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service to our valued customers!

Your Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will:

  • Run large sites independently or supervise other technicians, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert support in technical disciplines such as general theory, centrifugal compressor rebuilds, absorption chillers, and controls chiller sequencing.
  • Handle commercial and technical aspects of contracts without supervision.
  • Troubleshoot and support complex breakdowns, both in-person and via remote assistance.
  • Commission standard and large capacity products while advising on system installations and identifying broader system issues.
  • Participate in customer meetings with minimal supervision.
  • Review and understand complex technical documents, including wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a similar role within the HVAC industry, particularly with large industrial water chillers.
  • A qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • A full UK driving license (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds or equivalent in Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
  • F Gas qualification (cat 1).
  • Technical competence with relevant experience in Carrier and other manufacturers’ equipment.
  • Proven experience in a Technician role within the HVAC industry.
