Service Technician

Your mission? To troubleshoot, support, and service a wide range of HVACR products, ensuring our customers, including data centres, receive top-notch service.

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Run large sites independently or supervise other technicians, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Provide expert support in technical disciplines such as CRAC/CRAH, centrifugal compressor rebuilds, and absorption chillers.
• Handle commercial and technical aspects of contracts without supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technically challenging breakdowns, both in-person and remotely.
• Commission standard and large capacity products while advising on system installations and identifying broader system issues.
• Participate in customer meetings with minimal supervision.
• Review complex technical documents, including wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings, with confidence.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Experience with chilled water systems, chillers, and CRAHs.
• A background in the data centre environment.
• A qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• A valid UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds or equivalent in Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
• F Gas qualification (Category 1).
• Technical competence with Carrier and other manufacturers' equipment.
• Experience in a Technician role within the HVAC industry.
