This field-based role will cover Sheffield and the surrounding areas, providing you with a dynamic work environment.

As an Apprentice Service Technician , your primary goal is to immerse yourself in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Participate in regular block release sessions at Leeds College of Building for a Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps.
• Work with a variety of HVAC equipment, from small products to large commercial systems.
• Shadow qualified Technicians during customer site visits.
• Learn about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges, both in-person and remotely.
• Gain experience with fans, air handling equipment, pumps, and water hydraulics.
• Explore digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• A keen learner with a bright, inquisitive mindset.
• Strong written English skills.
• An interest in M&E, Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Confidence and articulate communication skills.
